Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport

To satisfy the demand of fast growing tourists, an airport was constructed at Zhangjiajie with a name of Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport on Aug. 18, 1994. The airport is located approximately 2.8 miles (4.5 km) southwest of Zhangjiajie City Center and about 18.1 miles (29.2 km) south of Wulingyuan District, which is the territory of Zhangjiajie UNESCO Global Geopark. In 2011, the airport became an international one, namely Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport. The airport has direct flights to 57 cities in Asia.
